The client was riding a recreational vehicle belonging to a friend. She lost control and struck a tree. Unfortunately, as a result of the accident, she died from her injuries. After a lengthy jury trial, the jury found the owners of the recreational vehicle liable for the wrongful death. We were able to overcome significant liability and comparative negligence arguments to obtain this verdict.
